Volunteering

Shekinah Glory Church strives to serve our community as a service to God and make a difference in the world. We believe that volunteering is a key value at our church, as it is a way for us to demonstrate our love for God and for others.

Volunteering is an act of selflessness and a key value of a way to serve others. It is also an act of obedience to God’s command to love our neighbors as ourselves. In Matthew 25:35-40, Jesus says, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

Volunteering service is a way to put our faith into action and to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our communities. At Shekinah Glory Church, we believe that volunteering service a path to reach out to our community and make a positive impact on those around us. We serve the homeless, reach out to the lost and least, and offer help and hope to those who need it most.

Our church offers various opportunities for volunteering, including serving in the food to the hungry, providing cloths to the desperate and needy, helping with social works in the community, and participating in outreach programs to make a lasting impact on the lives of others. We can offer hope, healing, and a sense of belonging to those who may feel lost or forgotten. We can be a light in the darkness and a beacon of hope to those who are in need. It is our unique way to grow ourselves into faith and to deepen our relationship with God. As we serve others, we are reminded of the love and compassion that God has for us.

Transportation

We understand that transportation can be a challenge for some families, and we offer a van service to provide transportation to and from our church services and events. This service is available for families who do not have access to a personal vehicle or who are unable to drive due to health or other concerns.

Prayer for the Sick and Needy:

We believe in the power of prayer, and we offer prayer services for those who are sick, in need, or facing challenges in their lives. Our dedicated prayer team is available to pray with you and provide comfort and support during difficult times.

As you go into the city,” he told them, “you will see a certain man. Tell him, ‘The Teacher says: My time has come, and I will eat the Passover meal with my disciples at your house.
